Your culinary pleasures
On arrival at a Royal Mauritius villa you are welcomed by the villa’s chef. For the duration of your stay the chef is your personal cook and will take care of your daily meals prepared according to your preferences and served on the various terraces, pool side or on the beach. If you plan outings by boat or by car he will prepare your picnic baskets. He will be delighted to introduce you to the basics of Mauritian cooking and will make sure that your stay becomes an unforgettable culinary experience.
The kitchen holds whatever is needed for the creation of relaxed or formal meals, barbecues or picnic baskets and the preparation of drinks and cocktails. Tableware is available for 12 or more persons so that friends can be invited. The chef will be delighted to perform for your guests.
Food and beverage expenses are excluded from our rates. The chef will discuss with you the menu and will be happy to handle the shopping. The guest relations manager will collect from him the bills and present them to you from time to time for refund.
